The Simple Pull Quote Wordpress Plugin provides an easy way for you to insert pull quotes.
Download
Download the Simple Pull Quote Wordpress Plugin from Wordpress.org. OR download the NEW Version 1.0 Beta here. (Note: This new version is still in development and might not work perfectly yet.)
Installation
- Download the zipped plugin files.
- Upload the zipped files into your “wp-content/plugins” folder or use the built-in plugin installer and grab the plugin from the Wordpress Plugin Repository.
- Activate the plugin.
How-To/Usage
- Create a custom field name of “quote” (without the quotation marks). (See photo below)
- In the custom field value, add the text to be quoted. (See photo below)
- In your post body, type “” where you want the pull quote to appear (without the quotation marks). (See photo below)

Changing the Look of Your Pull Quotes
To change the look of your pull quotes, simply edit the CSS file included in the plugin installation folders at www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-pull-quote/css/simple-pull-quote.css. We style the pull quotes with the CSS class of “simplePullQuote”.
